It is with much sadness that my wife and I hear of the passing of Heinz Carmann. It is important that we celebrate his life and his prolific contributions that have enriched so many of us.
Heinz was a most inspiring, larger than life, and genuine person who will be sorely missed. He created and led for many years, starting in the mid nineties, the Eastern European, Russian, and Near Middle Eastern business of Quintiles. His strong and highly motivating leadership built the preeminent clinical research business in that region. The lasting impact of Heinz continues to this day. His spirit truly lives on.
I am proud to have worked with Heinz over many years and even more proud to have been a friend and colleague of such a fine and fun loving man. His strength of character, expertise, loyalty, and professionalism taught me much during our executive time together.
Our deepest condolences and thoughts go to his wonderful wife and family. May he Rest In Peace.
